Painting & Drawing

Artform: Drawing, Mixed media, Painting
I’m a Worcester-born artist with a background in architecture, and this is my first year exhibiting at Worcester Open Studios. My work focuses on the city’s buildings, capturing not just their form but their character and the history they hold. I create detailed fine liner drawings on textured backgrounds alongside vibrant, expressive acrylic pieces that explore the energy and soul of architecture.
This exhibition is particularly meaningful to me as it takes place at The River School. I grew up at this school from nursery all the way through to Year 11. My works will be exhibited in the Lewis Room, which is surrounded by beautiful flowers and cobbled courtyards and is conveniently located next to the main car park. This provides the perfect setting to share my work within the architecture that shaped me so dearly.
Come and explore my interpretations of Worcester’s architecture and see how the city’s buildings inspire both precision and imagination in my art.
