Artform: Drawing, Printmaking

I am an artist / printmaker producing original prints in small limited editions. I work primarily with lino prints and wood engravings, although my work also includes etchings, drypoint and collographs. I try not be dominated by a particular theme, subject matter or technique and I prefer to work on whatever interests me in that moment. But the natural world, water, family and memories do feature heavily in my work. Everything starts with a pencil drawing or occasionally a painting, before being translated into an ink drawing for whichever printing technique is being employed. I enjoy story telling in my prints but leave options for the viewer to create and apply their own story.
